Youth Mental Health Champion Course - April 5th and April 6th

What is the Online Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion course? 

Our Online Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion course is a practical skills and awareness course designed to equip learners with the skills and confidence to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues, and provide support and signposting to selfhelp, or professional services. 

The new online version of our course delivers the same evidence-based learning outcomes of the popular ‘face-to-face’ Youth MHFA One Day course in an accessible and flexible online format. 

The course is structured around a blend of individual learning and live sessions. These are all conducted online via our new Online Learning Hub – an integrated learning platform. Learners who complete the course will be certified by MHFA England as Youth Mental Health Champions. They will receive an e-certificate on completion of the course.

Instructor sessions will be run on;

Monday 5th April 09:00 to 12:00  (Please note this is a bank holiday)

Wednesday 6th April 09:00 to 12:00

Who is it for? 

The Online Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion course is designed for adults who work with young people who would like to become Youth Mental Health Champions. 

Youth Mental Health Champions have the skills to spot signs of a range of mental health issues and signpost a person to appropriate support. This course has been tested and approved for adults (18yrs+) and people from the age of 16yrs with written parental consent. This course is also well suited for people who enjoy and are comfortable with learning online.

Delegates recieve a certificate upon completion, a course manual and workbook.

It is a requirement of the training that you are able to interact via camera and microphone, if you cannot do so or will be uncomfortable with this then we recommend waiting for a course that is delivered face to face rather than virtually.
