About the Event

As a Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAider®) you should take the MHFA Refresher course every three years to:

– Keep their awareness of mental health support current

– Update their knowledge of mental health and what influences it

– Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan

– Receive access to MHFAider® Support and Benefits for three years (if you previously completed the 2 day MHFA England training - please consider the full MHFAider course if refreshing 1 day skills)

This is a four-hour session with a mix of presentations, discussions, and activities.

– A resource library of toolkits and guidance to support your MHFAiders® in their role

​ MHFA England value this course at £150 per person. We have subsidised places and early bird booking prices available but these are limited and we expect them to sell out fast, book now to avoid dissapointment.

Course Format

Learning takes place through an interactive zoom session, delegates need to have cameras and microphones on to join the training.

  • Each session is built around our Mental Health First Aid action plan
  • We limit numbers to 16 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn
  • we have included an additional 15 minutes to demonstrate the support app and its features.

Online session will run on;

Thursday 16th February 2023 09:00-13:15

Everyone who completes the course gets:

  • A certificate of attendance to say you have refreshed your skills
  • A digital manual to refer to whenever you need it
  • Three year access to the MHFAider Support App®. (Further access can be mainteined by completing MHFA England Refresher courses)
  • A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health
